“Kaitangata Twitch”
Margaret Mahy’s spellbinding novel “Kaitangata Twitch” is currently being developed into a family drama series for Maori Television. The series is turning into a hugely exciting project with the involvement of talented writers Gavin Strawhan, Michael Bennett and Briar Grace-Smith.

Production Shed.TV has delivered its first project to Maori Television, due for broadcast later this year. Check back soon for news on when the documentary will be screened.

On the Shoulders of Many
The Production Shed.TV team has just returned from a successful shoot in the Hokianga for the documentary, ‘On the Shoulders of Many’. Thank you to everyone who hosted and helped us, and especially to the crew! Post-production work has now started.

Congratulations Margaret!
New Zealand author Margaret Mahy has won the world’s premier prize for children’s writing, the Hans Christian Andersen Award. Often called the “Little Nobel”, the award is given biennially by the International Board on Books For Young People to honour an author who has made a lasting contribution to international children’s literature.
The productionshed.tv team would like to offer our congratulations to Margaret and her publishers: this award couldn’t have gone to a more wonderful and talented woman.
Yvonne and Margaret have a long-standing relationship, having worked on such projects as: Cuckoo Land, The Haunting of Barney Palmer, and Typhon’s People, which featured noted actors like Alfred Molina, Greg Wise, Lucy Lawless, and Sophie Lee.
